The new 11041 model A-2R Bertucci DX3 Field watch comes with a rugged black 40mm poly-resin case and a matching khaki DX3® Field™ military spec nylon band with thin black dash stripe down the center. The watch is powered by an all-metal Japanese made quartz movement for precise time keeping. The black dial features both 12 and 24-hour markings, super luminous dots and Super luminous hour and minute hands for telling time in the dark, an offset crown at 4:00, unbreakable band retention bars, and a stainless steel screw-down case back. Battery life is rated to 4 years.
Never knew I wanted a “resin” field watch. But, watching the YouTube videos on Long Island Watch, it seemed like this was a good deal. It shipped super quick via USPS. Super basic packaging and no bad surprises. Very lightweight which makes it feel “cheap” but, as I headed out in the Jeep to take some shots I realized this is the perfect easy-to-read watch to go Jeep’n or cleaning out the garage or dumpster diving…😂 This is NOT a watch you would flex with but, the dial is easy to read and who cares if the resin case gets scratched. My only watch with this type of nylon strap, but it was very comfy.
