Parnis PA6083 | Miyota 8215 – I am finally started to figure out unknowingly that I am drawn to the design and looks of the Panerai brand of watches but for now I am purchasing various homages. From fonts on the watch faces to the indicies to the crown guards with unique case shapes and sizes.
43mm is my sweet spot for a case size on my 8″ wrist and I liked the font and case size of this particular watch. A brushed steel finish is more prudent for the day-to-day beatdowns, but, I do not have any polished chrome pieces except for my Mr. Jones which I never wear because it is a smaller 37mm.
Before I received the watch, I knew I probably wanted to have a steel bracelet versus the leather strap. (Ordering directly from Parnis was definitely much slower than anything I order on AliExpress) The Parnis branded leather strap is/was actually quite nice (no quick release spring bars) but instead I ordered a brushed stainless bracelet. The final look is really great BUT, with the minimalist watch face design, the date window was a hit-and-miss…it should have been a big date window to match the fonts. Also, I am more inclined to a “clean” white watch face but the beauty of these lower price points, it was worth trying the gray watch face instead..
Lastly, as I try and improve my “tabletop” photography, I am integrating my stock images and having them printed on 14″ x 11″ foam core to use as backdrops. These shots are all taken in the space of about 6-8 inches.

Classy Panerai homage dress watch. Black leather strap was ordered but I added the stainless steel bracelet for a classier look. See-through case back. Gray watch face. Wish the date window was a BIG DATE window.
Sapphire crystal lens with lum on hour and minute hands. Not a big lume watch.
